I was referring to your initial post, not to Kai's answer I don't agree to.
We don't stop anything, but we won't participate if there will be an action,
either unilateral or backed by a UN-resolution. And that's only logical. How
could we explain to anybody in the Arab & Muslim world that UN-resolutions
only go into one direction, while the other side isn't obliged to follow
them. Saddam gets his legitimation in the Arab world, even his strive for
"weapons of mass destruction" from desastrous US-politics:
