Blinda Blurb (TRP mentioned, but "NP" as such)

Erik Burns quoted Gail Caldwell describing Pynchon thusly: "who blurbs a lot 
for a literary spook." If I've untangled the mangled syntax correctly, 
Caldwell is calling P. a "literary spook."  This because the man values his 
privacy?  More and more does P.'s statement reported by CNN ring true.
