Just to add some few details:

1) the newspaper which reported is really social democratic and normally a
very good friend of Fr DG

2) the journalist who visited the event was a freelancer

3) It seems that Fr DG did not say in the public what was quoted 
- there are 3 or 4 statutory declarations of tradeunionist 
(according to "Die Tageszeitung" of today )

4) The "comparision" was made backstage where Fr DG and the freelance
journalist seemed to be in confidence

5) To my opinion it was a "Bauernopfer" ( sacrifice of a pawn ) 
she used to hold back means of evidence 
because according to German Law she cannot deliver 
as long as the accused persons have to expect death penalty
