I think the US would need to be defeated first. And
with all their WMD this isn't likely. However, it is
likely that Bush & Co. will continue to win wars and
put the losers on trial. The UN is not irrelevant
because Bush will continue to get resolutions and
enforce them. And he will use the UN to protect
himself. He will wage war and get the support of the
US Congress and the US people and the new pacifist
Germans too. The Germans will fall in line. They will
continue to sell arms and position their ships as
needed. They have the same old problem, they need the
oil too. The French were very agressive after the big
oils shocks in the 1970s and are in a much better
position, but they too will fall in line. You're
either with us or against us. That's the way it is and
no nation, not Russia, not China, is going to take a
stand against the US now.
