It is an untrue thing:  Unless "stand" means military force.  Maybe that is 
the ultimate rule, but lots of Europeans are taking stands right now.  
Russia-men and China-men might have other concerns than Iraq, as is to be 
expected.  "Interests" is the key, and Sadaam is a very bad investment right 
mow.  As Tip O'Neal, a wise Massachusetts US Congressman once coined, "All 
politics is local."
