vague Pynchon allusion in The Tuxedo

There's a vague Pynchon allusion at the beginning of a
movie some of you will like -- The Tuxedo, it spoils
the very first joke in the film, so I won't mention it
here.  Even though the movie has fewer of Jackie
Chan's mind-boggling moves and more special effects,
it's still a fun way to spend a couple of hours, and
those of you who enjoy the way Pynchon plays with
Asian pop culture references may find plenty to chew
on as well.
