fq, I have no objection to anybody getting baptized,
anywhere, anytime, in Kuwait, Iraq, , on PYNCHON-L, or
elsewhere.  When I was in the US Army, I served with
personnel of all denominational proclivities and
things worked out just fine. Our unit was a scene out
of a Frank Capra movie --  urban ethnic Catholics,
Bible Belters, Jews, born-again Christians, Muslims, a
Hindu, & etc. We managed to tolerate the differences
and even find things to laugh about now and again, a
regular laugh riot at times believe you me, out there
on the frontier of freedom.
