Indeed. As yet, no-one has been able to come up with one Christian
theologian who uses the term "nothingness". Both Sartre and Heidegger do.
Here's a scientific test. Give the following list to 100 English-speakers
and ask them to pick the odd word out:
God, death, nothingness, redemption, salvation
I'd estimate that 90-95% will light on that middle term.
My simple point was that it sticks out in that list.
