Jim Knipfel's first novel is, if not going to be
remembered 100 yrs from now, still quite a quick,
goofy, and downright good read. One does have to have
a soft spot for beer and godzilla (who doesn't).
a quest novel more in tune to the pynchonian paranoia
than say Gibson's PR, which in style and mood felt
more like a nod to Mr DeLillo.
JK knows where his strengths as a writer are and he
rarely tries to bite off mre than he can chew.
Mr. P did blurb it--one of his better choices I'd say.
