It may very well do just that. It may be in Iraq's interest to reduce
oil production once it has a government in place that can negotiate a
deal with the OPEC cartel. If it decides to do so for its own
self-interest it's decision and its actions may be a good thing for the
United States. It may be a good thing for the USA, a bad thing for
England, a good thing for Jordan and a bad thing for Mexico. We'll have
to wait and see what happens. Assuming that a future decision by a
democratic government in Iraq to cut oil production will oppose USA or
English or anyone's interest demonstrates your total ignorance of how
the oil markets work.
