OK, I'll buy that (the argument, not the oil). But now I'm even more 
perplexed. Why the hell did this invasion happen? If it's not about oil, 
if it's not about controlling the region, if it's not about WMD, if it's 
not about removing a dangerous man from office, what the hell was it 
about? Can you help me understand this? Honestly...

And please don't tell me you really believe the US will just leave and 
let the people of Iraq take their destiny into their own hands. That has 
never happened, nor will it ever.
