How did that work out for the world? I mean, Japan hasn't been to war
since and no one can argue that the Japanese have not benefited from US
policy ... in hindsight I guess lots of things could have been done
better, but it worked out pretty damn good considering the mess we were
in at the end of the second world war. Of course, the world is in much
better shape today, we've also managed to keep Europe in a state of
relative peace and prosperity. Wars do end. And when war is over, it is
time to get to work. Americans are pretty good at that, you know.
