I just found it entertaining that upon browsing through GR for the first
time in quite some time I was reminded that it begins with a quote from von
Braun asserting the continuance of spiritual existence after death and ends
with a sing-along hymn. While this, in and of itself, has little bearing on
interpreting the chaplain passage, it nonetheless suggests the importance of
such matters in the pages between.
