Note that valid does not mean "accurate" necessarily.

So assimilation of other cultures is your goal?

No, they threaten Israel, who has more WMD and has attacked the US in the past.
> 2. To ensure that Iraq never becomes nuclear.
Iraq has been seeking nuclear power since the 1970s, mainly to counter the threat from Israel.
Disarming Israel would have made more sense.
> 3. Remove a regime that actively fosters terrorism.
"Terrorism" seems to be defined as third-world countries using that they have to strike back at the technologicall-superior west.
> 4. Liberate the Iraqi people.
Sounds like projection. There was freedom in Iraq under Hussein, although he like all middle eastern leaders acted against those who opposed him.
> 5. Foster an Arab democracy.
Why is democracy an a priori useful value? More American projection, at a time when we're seeing democracy fail in the USA.
>6. Demonstrate American power in a post 9-11 environment.
You're right here and I couldn't agree more. It's about America asserting its superpower ability. Hence the Russian involvement.
You forgot:
7. This is a religious conflict between Christ and the infidels.
