I lost the note (1) and it was actually longer than the message. Ah, and
as usual I wrote it up on the fly here so its lost. See, any way, the
5th paragraph of Chapter 9 in V. for one example of characters on
strings and stages. 

Sorry, when I have time....but my physical therapy is progressing and I
do have an ironman to train for.
