first the antiquities, then the books

Howdy

The only people with an interest in "erasing" Iraq's history are the
remnants of the regime, who have a vital life-and-death interest in
erasing the tracks of their crimes. Banks are burning for that reason
as well. It isn't surprising that our own Regime is letting it happen:
Republicans don't read books, they burn them (forgive me, but I can't
resist the temptation for a cheap spit).

There is no Zone but the Zone...

Grieving anew,
Mark
