gnostic/orphic difference, golden screw joke

> Pynchon is a phenomenal novelist, ...
> It's fiction and satire, not religion.

Rather, I say Pynchon is a novel phenomenologist,
wresting metaphors on the essentials of religion.

A question here made me go look for a gnostic/orphic
difference, yielding these several good orphic URLs,
and I assorted their indications upon the ogdoad of
Revelation: The eight combinations of m/f x PF x MC.

> spontaneously shortly after these children begin to talk.

Freud also posited infant seduction (my labels PF, MC)
to explain his patients' memories. But I only require
the possibility of such things, for the Lamb occupies
all eight types, or perhaps only seven, excluding one
female type. Hence in AF are four male x three female
types: 12 couples, 24 elders in a Bakhtinian carnival.
This mythos informs every language any infant learns.

> [Rhea] is also Zoe, the beast or originator of the Beast.

Although THE beast seems to be a phase of self development,
the four beasts of Revelation (not of Ezekiel) were whores,
having holes before and behind, and each having six labia,
with holes under their labia. They partnered with the Lamb
at seals 1-4 to fulfill the other 8 partners 4 x 4 implies.

Mom is a case of the three-teated wolf that nurtured Remus
and Romulus, founder of Rome, suggested by Pynchon in MMIV
by "mothuh-lovin Roumanian." (Caesar is more a 1 than a 4.)

I recall as a child I had a "woo-woo", which was a floppy
oval ear torn off a fabric dog. Like a miniature security
blanket, I would carry this fabric around like a nosegay,
the bristly fur tickling my nose while I sucked my thumb.
I must have had it a long time, for I remember my mother
chronically ruined it by washing, when it wasn't bristly.

I hypothosize woo woo is an onomatopoeia recapturing the
lost object to which this fetish refers, the self-naming
MC. I tested this hypothesis with my wife: Looking at her
as my woo-woo, and playing the part of a suckling infant,
I soon had her moaning, ooooh, furthering my hyposthesis.
Then I found this, where Pynchon corroborates me: GR750:
"as the ooooo is the womb into which Gottfried returns."

This might be the excluded type 8 female, who is expected
to become the mother (Jezebel) of a type 4 male, and/or a
mother of yet another excluded type 8 female like herself
if PF. Otherwise she creates type 1 males, type 5 females.

The unmolested male infant occupies Revelation category 2,
Smyrna, related to seas, as shown in such self-referential
AF tales as Tennyson's Kraken. (However, Tennyson is not
a Smyrna, but a lamb, per name of AF tale: St. Agnes Eve.)

A titan is a PF-guilty father. Later, Zeus becomes Dionysos
by begetting Athena from his head due to AF. Lightning of AF
(below) also casts out his bad father, tares amongst wheat;
causes his own metamorphosis: theurgy, theophagy, theogony.
A PF affected male child is category 3, Pergamos, rivers and
fountains, exemplified by Coleridge's Tale of AF: Kubla Kahn.
The difference in Balaam and merely nicolaitan fathers is AF.

The Orphic hero is from a male infant with both MC + PF abuse,
category 4, Thyatira. AF displaces whore 4 with mother Jezebel.

Here you see the type of Flange, off with Nerrissa (AF) to
avoid his wife of the eighth type, a tergamant, shrew, etc.

In general, a type 4 Orpheus cannot save a type 8 Eurydice.
However, the Lamb's mobility, or polyvocal or polymorphous
quality did permit him, even at the end of this past epoch.
This marriage of the Lamb is much celebrated in Revelation,
and I say it happened about 1-2 mo. before the 9-11 attack.
The factual anecdote is paralleled by yet another old tale:

http://www.pitt.edu/~dash/snow.html
The Snow, the Crow, and the Blood: A Folktale from Donegal, Ireland

Its colors parallel seals 1-4, and the tale's culmination,
cutting off the devil's lips to require marriage, parallel
my wife's biting off my lip in a dancehall: body and blood.

I still have to work on developing the female set of types.

You know, when I saw this joke posted a few days ago,
I didn't even recognize its significance. Seeing it
again in my cache during a search for atomic bomb etc.,
after writing the things above, it was utterly different:
This is Pynchon's clear-cut ticket to being the lamb, or
at least, in a smaller branch of the taxonomy of types:
This can be mapped on the originary wet-dream-in-navel
of innocence, that potentiates the carnival during AF:

_Encyclopedia of the Marvelous, the Monstrous, and the Grotesque._

Grotesque example of a boy born with a golden screw where
his navel should have been. Searching for a cure to this
anomaly he finds a doctor whose magic potion sends him to
sleep. Upon waking the golden screw has disappeared.
Delighted, he jumps out of bed and his ass falls of. See
 Pynchon's V, p. 30.

Ps. Baudelaire translates Poe well, because
they both participate in our poetic mystery,
have the key to the arcane domain referents.
Carrion and Raven are stellar AF exemplars.
