SLSL Post (?) Scriptum ...

... so thanks to everyone who participated or
otherwise partook of (lurkers is people too!)--but
especially our hosts and, with especial especiality,
our metahost, Doug, who had the strength to force th
moment to its crisis (not to mention to shove me
into/over the deep end by assigning me the
"Introduction")--our very first (though hopefully not
the very last) SLSL (did we ever, provisionally, at
least, come up with what that might stand for?  Slowly
Learnin' Slow Learner was/is/e'er shall be my
nomination ...) on this here Pynchon-List.  I
apologize personally, if not profusely, for not
participating more myself, but, hey, even I have a
life offscreen (no matter how much I avoid it ...) and
even my onscreen life's been interfering as well. 
Hell, I let my inbox overflow so much the List
automatically unsubscribed me, even.  But it's not
like we ever really DROP a subject (not to mention a
grudge ...) here, is it?  So ... so it looks like
y'all're on about SOMETHING Pynchonian at present, at
any rate, and we should have a brand spanking new
piece of Pynchoniana to poke around at shortly, so ...
