It still was jarring to have Terrance point out that it is not labeled the
Christian cross, and generic or non-Christian cross imagery is throughout
GR. In the closing paragraphs we have the Cross and the Virgin. Neither are
necessarily Christian references. In the list of chaplain topics we have
nothingness thrown in to a list of generic theological concepts common to
all major religions. Nothing in the section is explicitly Christian. The
closest thing to an explicit reference is 'army-chaplain.'
