I don't think it is the Biblical Hell, though it's certainly like a hell. I
think the section motto from the Gospel of Thomas isn't indicating that
Jesus put Pirate and Katje "into Hell today", but that in the Gospel of
Thomas Jesus is revealed as preaching violence against the enemies of the
Jews rather than just the "Forgive thy Enemy" stuff which eventually made it
into the Gospels, and so he was a bit of a double-agent and double-double
agent like Katje, Pirate, Enzian and all the rest (cf. where Katje talks
about her "dead", i.e. "those who owe their deadness directly to me" 544-5).
But it's definitely a Convention (538.7), and these are definitely members
of the Counterforce.

I agree that Father Rapier isn't working for "Them" or "The System".

I suspect that this is where Katje meets up with Enzian and the other
Schwarzkommando too (656-663).

And I think one of the "Resolutions" from this conference or convention gets
to be the section motto on p. 706.
