 I have been diligently following the recent thread concerning the 1984
intro.

I will plunk down my cash tomorrow morning after cleaning my apartment,
answering my e-mails, and practicing my bass and primitive singing to buy a
copy because it contains a forward by my favorite author.

I feel that I have therefore earned a certain marginal privilege to spam
this list with self-promotion.

If any P-listers are in the Boston area on Friday, May 16; I will be playing
my first paying gig in six years at the Kirkland Cafe in Cambridge MA with
the Country Doctors. Rest assured that there will be a drunken discussion of
The Crying of Lot 49 at the bar.

Come on down and I'll buy you a pint. I'll be the tall bald guy in the Red
Sox cap playing bass and singing "Big River".

Mention "Secret Integration" and I'll buy you a shot.
