the first pic is the same place I sat--on the hard
bench facing the front door. funny, the guy in the red
looks a bit like the actor who played Mr Pekar from
American Splendor.

chips were wonderful--my girlfriend is getting her PhD
in english, with a focus on Scots dialect--she went to
st andrews for undergrad, and lived near the pub when
she lived in Chicago--we'll go back for sure when
we're back in town.
