Why? 

Hey, Lawrence, What's Hamlet about? 

"A man who can't make up his mind."

A tale told by an idiot full of sound and fury. 

That's what The Sound and the Fury is about. 

Well, at least the first few paragraphs. 

It's also what Life is all about, 

"...sound and fury signifying nothing." 

Try deconstructing that with out a hammer. 

Ask people what anything is about and they will have trouble telling
you, but they have to say something, like, well, you had to be there or
you should read it, I know you'll love it. 

Doesn't Kinbote tell us what Canto three or is it Canto two is about and
that it is  OUR favorite? 

How in hell does he know it's our favorite?

Or is he talking to us?
