GR context: new Jung biography, & etc.

I heard a bit of a radio interview yesterday, with the
author of a new Jung biography. It turns out he was
agent 488 for Dulles and the OSS, an interesting fact
to remember while reading _Gravity's Rainbow_,
especially the bits about using psychology in
espionage, as well as the novel's play with archetypes
and the unconscious.

Also, I've finally followed Dave Monroe's suggestion
and am reading Victoria Nelson's _The Secret Life of
Puppets_, which offers much to interest a Pynchon
reader, highly recommended.
