That occurred to one. In my opinion however Yellow Dog has some good 
writing in it. On pornography, tabloid journalism British style, the 
Monarchy. Also there's a funny connection in it to Tobias Smollett's 
fellow writer Henry Fielding's Joseph Andrews claimed to have been 
written in the style of Don Quixote. (not unexpectedly)

Aside from the speculation on father daughter incest, which was 
interesting, what to make of the rest of the male aggression theorizing 
might have been puzzling. Exceedingly simplistic. Is it just more 
satirizing? Anyone else read the book.
