Yet Another Plea to Stay Pynchon-Focused

through.  I've deleted nearly all of them w/o more
than a quick glance because they were all about Iraq. 
None was about Pynchon.  For the most part this SLSL
has been a bust.>>

I agree it's tedious and, for the most part, a drag,
but I think a difference can be noted between an
exchange on the issues, like the recent one between
Otto and Rob Jackson, and the ongoing burial of the
list with uncommented-upon NPs of questionnable news
content and veracity, posted with no point other than
advancing a personal political agenda.

Everyone on the list is computer-savvy.  If one wants
to read political screeds, one can find them easily
enough without having them selectively spammed onto
this list and into our mailboxes.
