I guess I shall never finish with Burton's Anatomy of Melancholy because
it keeps rising from the dead every time I think I've buried and sent it
off to hell or heaven or, now that I think on it, to Limbo. There
Democritus, the laughing sage, wipes the tears forever from the eyes of
weeping Heraclitus.
