thx. mark--that is a fine list
i had totaly forgotten about Evan Dara's book which is
very Gaddisique in style and is a much better book
than say, R. Powers Gain. For those who haven't read
it, it's a novel about a town's employer which turns
out to be a major environmental polluter. it's pretty
much all dialogue like JR.
As far as I know, Dara hasn't written anything since.

I'm also about to re-read Gould, too.
