Or on film. And, wait, Slothrop's map is color-coded and they took
photos of it with black and white film. I'll get you my little pretty

Impressionistic German silent film. Reverse it. What did Katje see on
that film with the midget sheriff?
If Pointsman has discovered a direct correlation between the German V-2
rocket strike (an impact that precedes its sound, so not a talkie film
yet) and Slothrop's map of stars (Hollywoooooood....) why would
Pointsman risk killing Slothrop or castrating him? To save himself? To
save the world? To win a nobel prize?
