but cyberfiction isn't really literature; it's more of a pop culture dimension
that borrows from literature.

I really didn't mean to respond to a "cyberfiction" category of fiction.  I
really don't know what that means, and I'm not sure it's woth arguing about.  I
don't think that genre has proven to be worth a category, or that category a
genre, or... whatever.

I'm not sure about your Joyce criticism, but I think I know what you're getting
at.  But before I respond I'll let you make your own argument.  Faulkner,
however, is pure passion.  *Light in August* is the epitomy of southern gothic.
 But remember, I alos love Flannery O'Conner, especislly *Wise Blood.*
