I read _The Sound and the Fury_ in high school, and I started to read it again
a few years ago, but never got up the steam to plow through.  I should try
again.  In terms of form it is definitely a milestone.  

I read _As I Lay Dying_ a few years ago, and enjoyed it.  But _Light in August_
is such a dark psychological piece.  It would make a great movie in the right
hands.

The late David Hamilton, AKA Frodeaux, gave me a copy of _Absalom, Absalom!_
and recommended it as indispensable.  I started it, but only touched the
beginning.  I’m going to read it through soon.  And since Malignd so highly
recommends _The Hamlet_, I'll get that one too.
