Thoughts on Iraq

Very good points here. Specifically, that Bush is no different from 
his predecessors (or, unless stopped, his followers). And, the 
multiple lobbies working on this issue, which can be summarized in my 
view as:

1. Industry
2. Israel-Zionism
3. Israel-water
4. "The Military-Industrial Complex(tm)"
5. Religious xenophobia
6. Yee haw let's kick some ass.

The last Iraq war featured a total disregard by Americans for Iraqi 
life. I am not one to argue the sanctity of life, but to me bombing 
Iraqi children and letting a monster like Ariel Sharon walk the earth 
- with praise - is shameful hypocrisy.
