Playlist Addition/Song Poems

don't know if you saw this keith, but PBS last night
had a show on song poems, ordinary people writing
lyrics which hacks in Nashville and other places set
to music.
It's quite wonderfully loopy and a breath of fresh
air. the utter strange things people write about.
makes me believe in what this country is all about
(the good one)

there are probably many playlist additions within that
vast archive of underground american music.

p.s. tonight PBS begins two part series on color
footage of combat in WWII
