Yes, you do have to pay attention. Most people are so concerned with their
jobs, their families, and the daily shitstorm of their lives that the
suffocating blanket of advertising-driven media, specifically television,
buries the obvious in a deluge of crap, COPS, "human interest", and leading
bleeds.

I don't see too many copies of the NYT on the Orange Line on my way to work.
I see lots of hawkers shilling The Metro. You know, the paper that promises
to give you the world in twenty minutes. The greatest thing to come out of
Sweden since ABBA, and about as hard hitting.

Dubya counts on people not paying attention. It is the subversion of the
Jeffersonian ideal of the informed populace.

The check is in the mail.

The media is biased to the left.
