Dear sir and/or madam--

Both amazon.com and bn.com (for starters) list a new Plume edition of George
Orwell's 1984 as not only slated for publication in May of this year, but as
featuring an introduction by Thomas Pynchon.  I cannot find verification on
your site, or elsewhere.  True or not?  I would like to know before I and
everyone I know rush out or start clicking away to pre-order copies.
