re correspondence with Playboy Japan

This was all discussed in some detail last year. 
jbor's notion that the Playboy Japan interview is a
"hoax" is itself the hoax, and has been all along,
since the interview was published. Rich's
correspondence corroborates what others learned from
Playboy Japan at that time. It's also worth noting
that Pynchon has not made any public move to distance
himself from or otherwise disclaim the interview.
