Literature will get interesting again when this childish & simplistic 
worldview is dropped.

I think the main reason people trumpet "But Bush stole the election!" 
is to convince themselves that simple, absolutist answers work. (The 
war-crazy mass-killer may have technically stolen the election or 
not, but anything that comes down to a contest closer than its margin 
of error is not an effective decisional system.)
