Ada's a tough one.  I'm not as enamoured of it as I am
of Pale Fire or Lolita, although it's my wife's
favorite of Nabokov's novels.  (It's also the
favorite, I happen to know, of the wonderful Mary
Zimmerman, who directed Metamorphoses and is a great
lover/maker of story.)
