I woke up this morning and what did I find - that my unposted post was
completely in line....
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, after all these years a faithful digest reader, the time may have
come for a change.
Finally the need for a filter.
No more will I be scrolling through reams of intellectual and ideological
ruminations, regurgitations, wry humour and verse, sampling the arguments,
engaging with a few, sliding or skimming by the rest.
No, now I'm going to have to open every damn message: click scroll, click;
click, click; click, scroll, scroll, click; click, click; click, click...
I can already feel that first knuckle seizing up.
I'm going to look forward to the interminable posts, endless links, the
multiple repetition

just to get some scrolling exercise.
Terance, Rob, Dave, I apologise if I ever called you the axis of reaction -
if I didn't, please accept my apology anyway, I thought it. Terance, you
may hate P's politics but I assume you share the same desire for a more
kind, cool and caring world. Our disputes are many, our views as far apart
as they have ever been - but they are of the same planet. One dimensional
maybe, but IR to UV at the least.
There is no way to deal with someone as smug and insensitive as this. His
only satisfaction is the provocation he effects, his other engagements with
us mere masturbation. Challenge him all we will - all we'll get is "..I'm
rubber, you're glue...". He's an elitist, a white power sympathiser and
presumably too young and arrogant to entertain self-doubt, a-and now he's
talking to himself..
Nothing comes of nothing, and to it too... Filter on.
