Overlook what? I've deleted at least an hundred post from you unread so
maybe I missed this political outside stuff ... I'm not afraid of any
discussion of Pynchon's politics. But you have not, as far as I know
(again, I've deleted most of your posts) given us your take on Pynchon's
politics.  Fact is, dealing with me is quite easy. I'm a woosey (that
means I'm a pluralist who won't tolerate relativism and those who won't
tolerate political views that they consider not the kind of politics
Pynchon would have). So, when Mike Weaver says I hate Pynchon's politics
he's wrong. As I've explained to him several times I don't hate
Pynchon's politics or want to silence a discussion of Pynchon's politics
here. Facts are, I've brought more to this list, in books, reviews,
essays, articles, dissertations, etc., on Pynchon's politics than anyone
else. I just think this is a Pynchon list and we should focus on
Pynchon.

We don't have a hierarchy here. You got ganged up on because you wanted
to be ganged up on. Try again. Why not. You have the time. You have the
brain. You've read the books. 

Screw Joyce. If you don't want to talk Joyce, talk Pynchon. Talk
Nietzsche and Pynchon. But find a bit of a focus. And be careful.
Posting anti-Semitic web pages is not gonna fly round these parts. If
you have political views that you know or believe or suspect are going
to turn this list into a flame feast I suggest you keep them to
yourself. If you are a racist or an anti-Semite, I'll ignore you, but
ten silver backs are gonna jump on your ass. Maybe that's what you want?
