I think you are right about Mike and several others here. But not me.
I don't want to type back to a racist or an anti-Semite. But I'll defend
your right to type whatever you have to say about Pynchon's politics
here. However, if you are here simply to type out your own political
views and use Pynchon's books as an excuse to do I'm going to complain
about that no matter what your politics. Mike and Doug and some others
actually think I'm on another political planet, but our politics are not
radically different. What's different is that I don't want this list to
violate the only rule it has or become a closed system clique or chat
room.

Me? I've said nothing about Joyce here. I participate in a Joyce
discussion elsewhere so no need or desire.

Anytime you're ready to start a discussion of Pynchon's politics simply
put Pynchon in the subject heading and I'll start reading your posts,
Till then, I'm deleting them unread.
