Anus, an example, context for Pynchon's Foreward to 1984

This is an example of violating rule number one.
Just like you, Doug likes to send us his political views. He assumes
they are Pynchon's political views. What he sends us are links to web
pages (often with no comments or introduction). This one links us to the
ACLU. Obviously, it has nothing at all to do with the context of
Pynchon's still **unpublished** Foreword (Monday, MalignD will cover
foreword / forward) to 1984.

Now, I'm quite interested in the DOJ drafts. But I don't need Doug to
send them to me on the Pynchon list. But, being as there is no
hierarchy, this is not a moderated list, I can do little but voice my
concerns by typing out my complaint. Will Doug stop? No. Will you? What
Doug will do is call me a fascist. That's what you did too. What Doug
will do is call the cops and his family lawyer on me. Will you? There is
only one rule. And you are free to dismiss it. Violate it. Whatever. But
it remains the rule. This is the Pynchon List.
