OK. Mike. You win. This is stupid. You cut and paste and edit my on and
offlist posts to win an argument? Ok. You win. Don't ever contact me
offlist again.

Several times is accurate. If I have to post them to prove I'm right I
will.

Oh jeeezus. You are actually gonna try to hold me to this? You are
kidding.

No, you claim I'm trying to stop all discussions of Pynchon's politics
and focus the list on lit-crit. That's not true. Fact is, I have been
discussing Pynchon's politics for years. Fact is, just this month I
posted excerpts from three books on Pynchon's politics. Over the years
I've focused on Pynchon's politics as much as any other Pynchon subject.
But I don't care to discuss the news here. I don't want political spam.

Tablets of stone? What utter nonsense. I have posted from a wide
spectrum of political readings. Do I have to list them?
Not all of

What has lit-crit got to do with it? It's not lit-crit. I know that
there are only a few people here who read and are very interested in the
lit-crit. But I don't post much from the lit-crit. Most of what I post
here is from the political readings of Pynchon.

Near the center because Doug lost his mind. You just want to talk about
stuff that is not related to Pynchon. In fact, you want to keep this
list talking about war in Iraq and the Bush administration. That's what
you're here for. When do you ever talk about Pynchon? Never. There are
places, chat rooms, or offlist. where you can debate the topics of the
day. This is the Pynchon List. Get it?
