Everyone, just about everyone, would like to see a diplomatic/peaceful
solution. But this next one will be the eighteenth UN Security Council
Resolution on Iraq in the last 10 or so years. Tony Blair said the other day
that Saddam has been responsible for the deaths of over 500,000 Iraqis. So,
I don't think we can be certain that fewer Iraqis will be killed or will
suffer, particularly if he's let be for another ten or twenty years. Saddam
needed to be "dealt with" a long time ago. He needs to be dealt with now.
