It was your argument.
There is a raft of possibilities between doing nothing and Bush nuking him
to smithereens. Attempting to reduce the issue to those two alternatives
only is the "baseless rhetoric". What about a binding ultimatum? UN-backed
intervention? A War Crimes Tribunal? An interim government, monitored by UN
forces, as in Afghanistan? Recognition of and support for an independent
Kurdistan (effectively, it already is)?
Doing nothing is the second worst option, no matter how much it is tarted up
in the petticoats and propaganda of "pacificism".
