The propaganda of those urging war has not been convincing, and
assumes that attacking Iraq is the best use of limited resources,
or worse, that resources for such poorly thought out actions are
unlimited. Meanwhile, Afghanistan still smolders; Pakistan harbors
thousands of Osama's followers; North Korea continues to develop
nukes while its citizens freeze and starve.

Seeking a peaceful solution is the best way to ensure a favorable
outcome for Iraq and the entire region. Furthermore, by avoiding
the self-righteousness that goes along with waging war, the U.S.
can begin to focus attention on its own flaws, such as dependence
on foreign oil, over-consumption and political reform.
