I think in their rush to find and crucify "anti-Semites" 
(translation: people who criticize Judaism or Israel), some of the 
people on this list have forgotten a fundamental truth about 
Christianity and Judaism that relates to Pynchon, whether He saw it 
or not:

THESE RELIGIONS ARE BINARY.

You are either good, or evil, and you're either wrong in the 
objective(tm) reality of their Lord, or not (note: this "objective" 
reality is in fact fully subjective, but universal, as if giving 
credence to the statement "What is actually true does not matter, but 
what most people on first glance consider true, does.").

This leads to paranoia and with-us-or-against-us syndrome.

Christianity - well, I've been a critic of this religion for years 
since growing up under the blue laws. But Judaism is no better.

These were the two religions behind the last crusades, and are the 
ones behind the current crusades.

I am aware that Judaism considers its adherents a "race," but 
realistically speaking, the religion and its dogma is what causes 
concern. I am not concerned here with these aspects.

I find the tendency of some members of this list to jump and howl and 
scream "anti-Semitism" to be indicative of those protecting a special 
interest, not defending truth.
