Anus gazing with Nietzsche

In Twilight of the Idols Nietzsche notes that
philosophy has a special predisposition to consider
existence worthless. One of Pynchon's themes has to
do with the conflict between a resentment against life
& an affinity with it. The "criminally insane"
political authorities with their fingers on the
buttons. The machine in the garden, the system that
exploits and destroy so much life as we know it.
Consider how thoughtlessly and ruthlessly non-human
life is destroyed when trees are cleared and lines
drawn. How superficial the idea that all life and all
things are interdependent and in balance seem to us
today. Nevertheless, the bomb, the destruction of life
forms, is not exactly the nihilism Nietzsche has in
mind even if the results are what are to be expected
from a consciousness guided by hatred and resentment
against life and also what Nietzsche called a
resentment against time. The resentment against time
is responsible for the irresponsible abuse of
resources that will be needed in the future and the
denial of responsibility for the past. Nihilism is not
about the death of god. It is not about the loss of
absolute values. Well, not anymore than the death of
scatter brained mother earth. Nihilism is not about a
crisis in values. It is not about nothing. It is not
about everything being permitted or the futility of
discovering the truth.
It might just as well be stated as: nothing that
oppresses me and dominates me is true; everything that
allows me to express the love of life is permitted.
Loss of belief in God? Nietzsche asks: What is the
origin of the belief in a Being with absolute power to
punish one? It's a good question. Nietzsche is not the
man to answer it because the death of god to him is
tragic. A dancing god is gay and laughs, but is also a
patriarchal tragedy. Nihilism is the death of
patriarch and his power, his absolute power and
authority. And who will replace him? A Dynamo? A
Virgin? The sons? They will murder him and always
carry about the guilt for having done so? Freudian
guilt, like Catholic guilt, was not Nietzsche's idea
of being gay. Power, according to Nietzsche would pass
from God and his the priests to the higher men. A
shift in the patriarchal order. God or his son Satan
or Simian or Anus.
