  right, there are - as hegel already pointed out - three roots of modern

  well, america certainly added something ("pursuit of hotpussyness") but this 
  does not make european origins "bad shit". those italian aristocrats 
  were of course quite "selfish", yet who cares since they financed crucial   
  creations like the music of monteverdi? and my man martin luther?! not   
  unproblematic, sure, but - all in all - a great guy without whom we would   
  have neither the german language as we know it nor modernity as such....
