Yes, because I left out the word "watching" 
S/B Or maybe, we are all just watching shadows in the
cave and reality is something we can never know or
know only when we  return to it be it above or below.

That we can know it when we return to it is Paltonic. 

That we can not know it is Kantian or problematic (as
both Aristotle and Kant use the term and not as you
have here and as is most popular today).
